WE KNOW THE VALUE OF GOOD SERVICE
WE KNOW THE VALUE OF GOOD SERVICE
Did you know that as part of a Maxxia novated lease, servicing is budgeted for?
When you drop your car in, let your service provider know the vehicle is Maxxia-managed, and to contact our Maintenance Centre on 1300 123 123 before they commence any work.
Once the work is completed, your mechanic will contact you to collect the car. In between, Maxxia’s team of experienced mechanics will take care of the rest – from confirming and negotiating costs, to ensuring all work meets manufacturer standards, and is reasonable and consistent with the age and condition of your car.
Daniel, Senior Maintenance Controller at Maxxia, says in addition to discounted rates for all tyre outlets, Maxxia has a schedule of labour rates for service providers. “We’re very diligent in the questions we ask service providers, and in stamping out ‘upsells’. If there’s anything not required per the schedule the team will push back.”
This approach has netted some significant savings for Maxxia customers. For financial year 2017-18, the team saved just under $590,000 – or a monthly average of more than $48,000 – across customer accounts.
The team will also make sure you’re advised of all work to be carried out, and, once the final costs have been confirmed, pay the invoice directly from your novated lease account.
“For convenience it’s great, not having to worry about out-of-pocket when you get your car serviced,” he says.
Real-life savings story
Kylie, a Maxxia customer, booked her car in for a 50,000 km service on the last day of her lease. The supplier called back to inform he had found an issue with the vacuum pump which affected the brakes, rendering the vehicle unsafe to drive. Maxxia confirmed the manufacturer warranty expired in March 2016, however the car had only travelled 51,000km. The service advisor later confirmed further extensive internal engine damage required the engine to be replaced. Our Maintenance Controller Scott requested Goodwill Assistance due to the uncommon failed mechanical part and low kilometres travelled.
The dealership confirmed Goodwill was approved for a full engine replacement, along with new turbo, saving the customer $19,000.
